Signs worth taking seriously. Depositing more than you planned, repeatedly. Chasing a loss with a larger stake. Borrowing to gamble or using money meant for something else. Hiding how much you play. Playing to feel level rather than to enjoy it. And one specific to this subject: opening an account at a newly launched site because the limits or the self-exclusion you set at the last one are in the way. If that sentence describes something you have done, the new casino is not the opportunity it looks like.
Tools that work. Deposit limits are the most effective single tool and work best set low and set early. Most operators offer session reminders, loss limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion.
